Emberfall Legion

Emberfall Legion is the rare mobile RPG that respects your patience. Battles play out on a grid, turn by turn, and positioning matters as much as raw stats. Move your mage into the open and she gets swarmed; tuck her behind a shield-bearer and the whole fight changes.

The writing is better than it needs to be. Companion side stories unfold between chapters, and choices actually shuffle who joins your party. We finished the main arc in around fifteen hours and immediately started a second run with a different squad.

If there's a knock, it's that the early chapters are a little slow to hand you interesting tools. Push past the first three maps and it opens up nicely.
