Nitro District
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro District doesn't care about tire physics. It cares about the feeling of throwing a car sideways through a rain-slick corner while synthwave blares. Steering is tap-to-turn with an assist you can dial down, and once it clicks the flow state is real.
Tracks loop back on themselves in clever ways, so learning shortcuts pays off across the whole career mode. Car upgrades are cosmetic-plus-performance and never feel like a paywall.
It runs hot on older phones during the busier city stages, so keep that in mind. On a decent device it's a joy.
What we liked
- Drift-focused arcade handling
- Clever track shortcuts to learn
- Upgrades that don't gate progress
