Two Weeks With Casinacho Games
I went into Casinacho Games expecting a throwaway strategy sampler and came out with a game pinned to my home screen. The lane defence mode is the real draw. You've got winding paths, a fixed budget of tower nodes, and waves that keep testing whether you actually understood the last one.
The thing that won me over is how readable everything stays. A lot of tower defence games clutter the screen until you can't tell your slow tower from your splash tower. Casinacho Games keeps the visual language clean — you always know what's shooting what, and the range preview when you drag a tower is genuinely useful.
My advice for the early maps: don't over-invest in a single tower type. The game loves throwing an armored wave right after you've committed everything to raw damage. Keep a slow tower near the first bend and you'll thank yourself later.
It's not a masterpiece and it doesn't try to be. But as a strategy game you open on a lunch break, it hits a very specific sweet spot. I'll keep coming back to it, which is the highest praise I hand out.
